The most wonderful time of the year is almost here and at Disney, the Most Magical Place on Earth! And during this season it is even more wonderful than you can imagine! Starting November 12, guests can look forward to a host of festive activities at Walt Disney World that are sure to add to their holiday cheer.
Meet Santa Claus at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
This year, guests can meet Santa Claus in person at the 75th Annual Dino Institute Holiday Party, taking place on the patio at Restaurantosaurus from November 12 to December 24. Santa, who has waved to park-goers during previous holiday cavalcades, invites everyone to join him as the Dino Institute celebrates the season in a fun, prehistoric style. Bring the whole family for a memorable Santa sighting!
Other Wild Ways to Celebrate
After visiting Santa, guests can head to Discovery Island for the return of the Merry Menagerie. These charming winter animal puppets are a delight, and don’t forget to give them a gentle boop on the nose for good luck!
You can also meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse at Adventurers Outpost, where they’ll be dressed in their festive finest.
After a day of shopping for unique holiday gifts and sampling delicious treats (stay tuned for our holiday Foodie Guide!), guests can enjoy the stunning Tree of Life Awakenings at night, bringing winter animal spirits to life.
Fresh Festive Entertainment at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is bursting with holiday spirit, featuring delightful retro decorations and three new entertainment acts starting November 12!
Juggling Elves: Watch as these holiday helpers entertain with juggling, comedy, and festive cheer.
Holiday Spirit Band: This lively brass group will have everyone dancing and singing along to joyful tunes.
Seasons Jukebox: Join this energetic collegiate-style marching band for a celebration of holiday classics with vibrant performances.
Additionally, beloved holiday traditions return, including the festive overlay of For the First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, opportunities to see Santa at It’s A Wonderful Shop, and the enchanting Sunset Seasons Greetings, featuring projections on The Hollywood Tower Hotel and magical snowfall along Sunset Boulevard.
